Instagram Feed
The Katen theme uses the Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed plugin for the Instagram Feed.
Setup Instagram Feed
Open Instagram Feed -> All Feeds
Click Add New button
Click Next button
Click Add Source button to connect your Instagram account. (It will be redirected to Smash Balloon website.)
Select your account type (Personal/Business)
Click Connect with Instagram button
You will be redirected to Instagram.com and click the Allow button 2x times on the popup authorization.
It will redirect to back Smash Balloon and click on the Yes, it is my domain button.
Your Instagram account connected successfully.
Make sure to check your Instagram account in your setup wizard and click on the Next button
Click the Save button
Didn't look the same as the Katen demo?
Download the JSON file with CTRL+S (for Mac COMMAND+S) command.
Go to Instagram Feed -> Settings
Click the Import button from the Import Feed Settings section
Select your downloaded JSON file and the Save Changes button
Go to Instagram Feed -> All Feeds
Copy the shortcode of the katen_theme feed
Go to Appearance -> Widgets and open the Footer Widgets Area -> Custom HTML
Replace the [instagram-feed feed=1] shortcode with your copied shortcode and click the Save button
